My Uncle just bought 60 acres just west of Jacksboro, was wondering if anyone else hunts up there and what kind of numbers yall see? I'm going to give it a shoot this year because it's free and there is already a blind and feeder on the property. Mainly just hoping to be able to take my kids and get them into more. Thanks in advance.

It should be pretty good. I live in Young county and see plenty of deer out that way. Some customers of mine in Bryson have a feeder set up next to the plant and they are seeing quite a few red deer too.

We are north of Jacksboro. We have lots of deer. The only problem is you won’t see them until after thanksgiving if there is a big crop of acorns. If no acorns, feed light now and heavy starting mid September. Good luck.

My nephew has 70 acres near Jermyn and has lots of deer, hogs, and a few turkey. He feeds year round. Protein and corn.
