That's awesome! Is that the 4.5-27 or 3-18 Razor?

Unfortunately the bolt is on the wrong side, but other than that it looks like a nice build!

Thanks, brother man. The scope is a 4.5-27. And the bolt is on the winner's side.

If ya'll think that's the only powder to use for 88 grain bullets, I won't try another powder.

I'd be hesitant of trying 88 in a 223ai. Might not be able to generate enough velocity to surpass an 80.

I need to get 2950 to beat an 80. I'd be surprised if I couldn't hit 3000 with a 26" barrel.

Granted I only run a 21" tube but 2906 with an 80gr vld is the huge sweet spot. I know a few guys run h4895 to get more velocity but most of the time brass life is short. Also an 88/90 is really long to mag feed reliably.

I have 500 of each bullet so I'll be ready if the 88s don't work out. Now I need to find some XBR.

XBR and Varget. I know Jason is getting good results with 80s and XBR. It may work fine with 88s too. Varget might be better for the heavier bullets, according to everything I've read for the last several months.

Nice! Looking forward to a range report. Is this the rifle you gonna shoot at JG's match?

I was gonna mention Varget for the 88's and your barrel length. Be curious to see what happens. I happen to have both powders, but a 24" barrel.

Well I have 88s and I live 20 miles from your range.
