I walked up on the boar sleeping at my feeder about a month ago and took a shot and missed not sure if it was a clean miss or if the bullet deflected off brush the hog was bedded in but I know I missed because he was back at the feeder the next day. Unfortunately the area closed because national guard was training in the area and stayed closed for a month. I checked cams every 10 days or so and this boar was at my feeder everyday. Well the area opened up for the 4th and I went out and got my redemption. Thought this picture was fitting for the 4th.

That’s a cool picture. Was that an accident, or is that a special filter? Like the way the taillights are glowing .

I was trying to make it glow red when I took the pic but then I also used a filter to enhance the look.

I got lucky, as you can see in the video right as I squeeze he steps forward. Slug must have been a slight flyer because I got him right in the heart.
