Hunts can be Muzzleloader October 6-10 this is my top pick or Rifle October 13-17 also a great hunt
We typically run 100% success on these hunts expect bulls 300-320” and possibly larger
Hunt price $11530 ea includes 1 on 1 guiding, meals ,lodging , sales tax and the unitwide voucher.
It does not include the state elk lic or gratuities

Unit 36 is a high quality high demand unit near Ruidoso NM and among the top units in the state it also has the highest bull to cow ratio of any unit in NM

For those comfortable hunting on their own I’ll consider selling these hunts at a reduced price to include the unit wide voucher, meals and lodging , guidance on where to hunt and we can pack your elk out on a per bull fee.

If you have more than two hunters i can likely obtain more tags.

I have secured more tags for this unit i won’t know exactly for sure whether or not they will be mature bull tags or archery tags until the landowners receive them in June but I’d expect to have more of both.

These hunts are way above your average elk hunt you will see bulls everyday 300-320” bulls aren’t uncommon and bulls in excess of 320” are certainly possible we’ve taken bulls up to 360” in this unit. there’s an occasional bull in excess of that taken but i wouldn’t want anyone to expect to see anything bigger than that

We have great accommodations and outstanding cooks for these hunts you won’t be roughing it in a tent eating sandwiches. Great hunt for family and friends to enjoy together husbands and wives would be comfortable too. Would also be a good corporate hunt or hunt to business clients.

We can do it for either season sept 1-14 or 15-24

We typically do them as 6 day hunts but we can add more days or do less guided days and you could hunt on your own if unsuccessful
