Headed down there in July to bay fish, where are two really good restaurants, one really nice with great fresh seafood, the other a great place who will cook our fish. I've heard Waterman's is very good at this.

Where's Jamaica Beach, he lives down there???

Jamaica beach is the west end once you get out of town, before you get to slp.

Cajun Greek. One of the better places that I've eaten down there and not so touristy.

we're will go to Topwater Grill in San Leon to cook our catch. right on the water, looking for a nice seafood place now in Galveston.

Landrys too chain , Gaidos? is it still there? I ate there during my Frat Formal in 1975, Stayed at the Galvez. Goon times, still shaking sand out of my swim suit

No, not Olympia. It's called the Cajun Greek.

Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar and The Gumbo Diner both have really good PoBoys (taste like they do in New Orleans) We have tried Shrimp N Stuff a couple times and my Wife and I weren't impressed.

Little Daddy Gumbo bar makes a damn damn good po-boy. They aren't shy to stack the shrimp and oysters onto the sandwich, I also like their large portions so you will walk out full. I also got their "small" gumbo and it was way bigger than anything I have ever seen. This will be my go to po-boy place on the island for sure from now on.

I am sure of you purists will turn your nose up to my next move.....

The Black Pearl Oyster Bar down on 24th and Market is good food. Ask for Tamatha if you sit at bar (easy to spot, few tats). I get salad with grilled tuna and does the job. Use to enjoy dining down there till I became persona none gratis recently.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!
