My lab and this doe stood looking at each other for over 5 minutes, neither would back down.

Nice pic. Did she have a fawn yet or one hidden close by?

I believe she has a set of twins close by. The doe jumps into the yard periodically to eat peaches from one of our trees or drink from the dogs water trough. I have two Lab's and most the time they just lay on the porch and watch the deer.

My dogs do that too, we have deer that go past the back fence on their way to their bedding area about dusk and my dogs will sit at the back fence and watch them. It's almost as if they're having a nightly conversation. Hey Bob how are the kids? good Doxie, catch any squirrels today?
