I have seen the slick lizard but don't know the proper name for them.
Your jack rabbits don't look very healthy. Winter recovery, Lack of rain and grass or predators running them?

I kept them as pets when I was 10 years old. They would bite when you caught them and for the first dozen or so times you handled them. They will eventually get very tame.

Big Boomers will eat smaller lizards. Everyone I ever caught bit me.
