The ones in the can? Use them pretty regularly, mostly in chili.

They add a really nice subtle smoky flavor to beans, soups, chili, salsa. i use them in just about everything. get you a small can and add a little to something to figure out how much you want to use in something. the small cans can light you up if you use to much lol but i typically use a whole can myself!

They’re wonderful and a staple here. Run them through a blender and you have the base for a great wet rub. Use it under a sweet rub on a turkey breast or a whole chicken for a tasty surprise.

Also makes killer salsas. I’m getting ready to make a guiso de puerco con salsa roja and there will be chipotle’s in there for sure. I love anything chipotle, awesome flavor. Used to buy big 5 lb bags from Mexico. Chipotle peppers that is lol.

When boneless pork loins go on sale for about $1.00 a pound I purchase a couple and then divide them into smaller pieces, wrap in freezer paper and freeze.

Two ways that I like to cook them are as follows.

Cooking method one is to cut into thick steaks and then marinate the steaks in a can of adobo sauce. After 4-5 hours marinating or overnight I grill the steaks over charcoal.

Cooking method two is to cut the loin into a small roast usually about 1/3 the length of the pork loin. Next I rub 1-2 tablespoons of prepared yellow mustard over the exterior of the roast. I then cover the meat with whatever coffee my wife has at home. I turn the meat almost black with the ground coffee. Finally I place the roast in the over and bake until done.

Luck favors the prepared mind.

Same here. Makes the best venison chili. A Wick fowlers kit plus small can of chipotles. Saltines and a cold glass of milk food
