My local quik change lets me dump my used oil in their barrels. I think a company comes by and pays them for their used oil.

Ag power burns it to heat the shop. They’ll take it. When they do an oil change, they will try to charge you for oil disposal. That didn’t fly with me.

I have mine done once a year at jiffy Lube when they do my inspection.

Have done it myself for years, auto store takes it back. Although the mess and hassle and price of having it done for me is starting to make me question changing my own oil.

I have three five gallon hydraulic fluid buckets with spouts labeled WASTE OIL. When they get full, Ag Power is just two miles.

O'Reilly Auto parts, most Wal-Marts take used oil for free. Our county has a dump bin at the extension office where you can dump as well.

I have mine done once a year at jiffy Lube when they do my inspection. That's fine as long as you don't drive more than 5K miles per year.

A coworker gets his oil from WalMart in the big 5 quart jugs. He gets several at a time. He figures while he is there, he might as well leave his old oil from past oil changes in the shopping cart and drives away. He assumes it gets taken to their auto center

I pour mine in a 330 gallon tote, and when it is full I take it to work and leave it in the shop, and the waste oil truck comes by weekly and empties our tanks. Right now the waste oil companies are paying for oil, so don't fall for a disposal fee. There are times when they do not, but right now is not one of them.

I have an old 5gal gas can that I dump it in, when it gets full-ish I take it with me to Autozone and dump it for free when I'm buying oil for the next change. We have 5 cars between us so It doesn't take too long to accumulate a full jug.
