I recently received my New Hill Country 7 Mag I had built, and during the build we decided on flush cups for the sling due to the mag extending and general comfort in carry of the McMillan A3. I never even considered installing a flush cup for the bi-pod. This is an Edge fill stock and I don't want to screw it up, but can a person install their own flush cup in such a stock fairly easily? Does it require removing the stock from the action? Is this a gun smith job?

After eating Payne's sausage I don't know if I can go back to the regular store bought stuff.

I've done them. Just drill hole out the bed/glue the cup in. Easy on stocks that are solid material unlike some b&c or hs stuff.
