I know where that is off hwy 16. I see it every time I go down that way. Yep! That's the one; on the east side of 16, a few miles outside San Saba. I keep thinking it's going to give it up and lay it down, since we've been having such a lot of wind; but it keeps hanging in there, at least as of yesterday (Monday) morning.

I drove past here this morning (5/21) and the Leaning Flower of San Saba had been removed. Looks like it was cut off at the base with a chain saw. There were not any pieces of debris in the area; totally clean; possibly DOT whacked it down before it became a road hazard.
