I am trying to find a flash hider for my new American Predator .204. It is 1/2”-28 thread. The Ruger website has one but when I asked them if it would work, they said no? Surely there is one so where out there for sale. Looking for suggestions.

Any 1/2"-28 flash hider should work. I don't know why they told you that.

Ok, I have been told by one dealer it would work and one said it wouldn’t. So you think as long as the thread pitch is 1/2”-28 it should work? Regardless if it says AR style, etc.

If you bought a 1/2"-13 bolt from Home Depot, would a 1/2"-13 nut from Fastenal connect to it?
