I know that the majority of night vision hunters out there are using Digital scopes and I've had alot of questions about the new stuff coming out. Got a chance to strap the brand new Sightmark Photon RT on my AR10 .308 for a couple hunts. This is Sightmark's new model which is replacing the XT units. Took it on a couple hog hunts recently...

Kind of impressive, that for a couple hundred bucks a guy can hunt at night. Nice video, one question. Ir appears brighter on left side of screen in video . Is that just in the video? Or is that real life too? Hard to know what real real time looks like after downloading/tranfering ect.

What did the hog weigh at the end of the video?
Nice job downing the hogs, the first pig was a $ 5 pig (they eat up lots of ammo)

Through the viewfinder I don't remember it being brighter in the left hand corner like that.... I bet you're right about the downloading and transferring..

Nice job downing the hogs, the first pig was a $ 5 pig (they eat up lots of ammo) Haha.. yeah that was an expensive hog!!! The second hog weighed 162 pounds. Wasn't as big as I thought he would be when I saw him through the scope..
