I know hanging mounts in areas that see allot of direct sunlight is bad for them in the long term. Is it the light or the UV rays that cause fading? Can it be mitigated if window tint is used that blocks UV? I'm running out of space and have a large wall left but it sees allot of direct sunlight.

Yes, a quality tint will block harmful uv, interior lighting should be considered also. DC

Thank you sir, I have seen too many mounts faded and dulled. Looks like a tint project is in my future. Should be a good time as the windows are about 12-15' up.
