First hog with the FLIR PTS233. I froze in the heat of the moment and forgot to push record.

She went down like a ton of bricks, but got back up and ran. You can see the shot placement just above and towards the end of the suppressor. I would have thought she was done for the count, but she ran about 60 yards. Was the shot too low and forward to break the neck? I was shooting 110 grain Barnes Tac Tx and the shot was taken at 20 yards. She appeared to be very pregnant.

Titanium. It's a form 1 build I did, but haven't had it Ceracoated yet. Components were Diversified Machine and Z Machine Worx. Works great, but not sure I'd do another form one. It actually out performs my factory GemTech can.

Why wouldn’t you do another? Just not worth your time? Just curious

The amount of reading/research I did was very time consuming and frankly overwhelming.. Fortunately I found a lot of help on several Form 1 boards/forums. The challenge is you have to sift through those who knew their stuff vs. those who thought they knew their stuff. Additionally, the design, measurements and small amount of machining I did took quite a while. The way I interpreted the law was I couldn’t do R&D to perfect the final product. I had one chance to get it right and that’s why it took so much time in the research, planning and build phases. In the end this suppressor does an excellent job, but only saved me about $300.00. The fun part was the pucker factor when test firing. I was praying that I drilled all the holes concentric with the rudimentary tools I had available. I will say I had a huge sense of relief when it didn’t explode while test firing. I’m glad I did it because it challenged me, but the process didn’t save me a ton of money, or time at the end of the day.

Next time have a friend over for some beer, and while you’re here, wanna shoot this thing.....

Was curious about “r+d”. That’s why I was asking . I was told same thing, build it once, no changing. But it doesn’t make sense in my small brain, why can’t you modify to improve?? What does it matter? Also shocking that you found experts on internet, that may not have know what they’re talking about.... anyway good job, I hope I’m able to follow through and do it one day
