Stopped off at Chili’s in Kilgore today, for lack of a better choice. The wife had a small steak, and said it was pretty good. I ordered a bowl of Chili (no beans). They should be ashamed to call that little container a “bowl”. It was small appetizer size. I will admit that it tasted Ok, but when you order a bowl on chili, it needs to not be a cup of chili.

I may be finished with eating at Chili’s. Their menu, with all the stuff I used to like, has been changed, and not for the better.

Chili isn't the Chili's we grew up with, I am not fan of it anymore.

I will say the ones I see stay crowded all the time. The one in the DFW airport is outstanding for some reason, the burgers are on point there.

Chili’s used to have a underrated burger, then when they made the most recent menu revamp is when everything really went to crap.

The continuous changing of the menu is enough to keep me away.

Only time I go there is for lunch when in a hurry. Bottomless soup/salad/chips/salsa for like $7.

Every time I offer to take my adult children out to dinner they always choose Chili's. I can honestly say that I've never had a meal there that I would want to have again. When it's my treat they get to choose so I go along and keep my mouth shut.

^^^^ And the service is always excruciatingly slow.

I remember going to the Chili's off of Greenville Avenue back in the 80's and getting an Oldtimer w/cheese and literally having grease running off of my elbows trying to eat that thing. MMmmmmMMMMM... they served their burgers rare and they were awesome.
Not anymore. haven't eaten at one in many years.

our local one used to be "okay" but they changed their menu a few years back and I've only been once since. nothing really appeals to me there.

I was a kid and remember flipping the coasters with my dad.

My kids love the place also, it’s better than a bunch of other places they like.

They used to have a Peppercorn Burger and curlyQ fries, and I was very fond of that combo. I used to like Chili’s. Oh, well...

On the present menu, the wife likes the Margarita Chicken. So she orders that while I search for something that I might like.

Supposedly they are more like this now after their rebranding. Haven't been though. Grew up on the mushroom burger, baby back ribs, Roy Rodgers, and milkshakes there. Usually one on Greenville or Addison. I loved the train in the bar when I was little.

We used to drive to Dallas form Irving for their burgers. The old timer and fries was like $3.85 back in early 80's, and they were very good.

last time I ate at one was in Atoka Oklahoma. Food was good but having to resist strangling niece and nephew was real task. Still trying to figure out how town that size has the infrastucture it does!

Horrible place.
Shocked they still in business, just like applebees.
I noticed that both locations are usually located next to a walmart or a trailerpark nearby.
When you go, its a throwback to the office space movie with them flares.

I didn't say that! Heck yeah I went to Bledsoes, took my son there for breakfast one morning. Why eat chain food when there is place like Bledsoes? He tried to stop in Mcdonalds one morning to grab a bite in Atoka...crowd was so bad he ended up riding to Coalgate and eating at Sonic.

None of what you mentioned remind me of any Chili's I can think of....
