We had them on our feeders in San Saba county for about 3 years in a row and that was it. Probably 5 years ago.

Had wood ducks a few years back hitting a feeder, thought it pretty unusual but sure was nice to watch!

Make sure you have good clean corn. Ducks are highly sensitive to aflatoxin poisoning.

We had a lease in Walker County (Huntsville) this was a pretty common sight!

Nice pic! They have been vacuuming up corn for the past 6 yrs now from spring till mid Nov. around me. They start out with 3 or 4 only then pretty soon the numbers rocket up to around 45-50. They can clean up corn as fast as a flock of turkey. They are really bad in bow season on corn I put out with tailgate feeder or hand corn. They show up within a minute or two of when the feeder is set to go off and don't leave till there is no corn left.mad

Cool. I was in Stephens county and two wood ducks came in last May. On top of a mountain!
