Check Tim Kelley, he might have a few. I know he has some pups kelleyridge.com
Blue Ridge Brittanies and Flying O have strong blood lines as well. Those guys might be able to point you to someone else with good lines if they dont have one on the ground

Thanks for the heads-up. I’m gonna check these out. Flying O is one I’ve been referred to by more than 1 person.

A buddy on my lease got a 5 mos old from Blue Ridge that had been introduced to birds and a blank pistol. In working with it the past two months, we have it about 90% broke. Also retrieving birds to hand and starting to show a little range. Tough little dude, thats the one that pointed and then dove on the porcupine on its very first rattle out of the box at 6 mos old, in the first five mins no less. I figured he was done for the weekend, but it didnt bother him at all. Ed at Flying O is a super nice guy. I can remember him and my dad in a two hour dog BS session 25 years ago, couple of story tellers going at it.

Good luck!

I have 2 dogs from Flying O. Both are amazing hunters and great family pets. The 10 year old has found around 1000 coveys and is bird finding machine. He does not enjoy retrieving. He will find dead and mouth them, but then loses interest and goes to find the next bird. The 3 year old is the better hunter, has a bigger range and retrieves to hand. The 10 year old is black/white and the 3 year old is tri color. I think Mr. Orms has some puppies coming up.

Ed recently told me he has a litter coming out of Sam and Rubie. Sam has sired some good ones.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE
