Now, bear in mind, he had already shed his antlers in this pic. I'm hoping he makes it to next season. He'd make a great shoulder mount.

He's certainly a fine one Homer Jay. Clearly good genetics. If you find his sheds be sure to post a picture. You might consider getting a group of friends together for an organized shed hunt. I believe the standard practice is to provide beer and BBQ at the end of the search.

If you can't laugh at yourself, give me a call. I'll gladly laugh at you.

That is a civilized and thoughtful suggestion. When/if I do, you are invited, good sir.

20 years of hunting and running backroads and I’ve yet to see one. They are as elusive as the chupacabra. I bet that one, when fully mature would go in the mid to high teens, a true trophy.

It takes specialized gear and circumstances, first you need a Yeti full of beer and be road hunting with a spotlight at night.

Looks like he's outside the fence. Wonder if he is hunting his neighbors fence line? smile

Is that in an AR county? If it is, I doubt if the horns would be outside the ears. Or do the buck restrictions not apply here?

Neither of those calibers are considered adequate for Jackalope bucks. Most people on here hunt them with a 6.5 Creedmoor. 30-06... roflmao

If his ears are three inches or longer I'm good to go. Of course I only hunt them low fence so I can't be as picky as you. bang

Just because my fence is over 24" does not give me that big of an advantage, it has more to do with my year round feeding of protein Carrot pellets laugh

Count your blessing. Those are becoming pretty rare on my little slice of heaven. Good luck!
