My son took his first gobbler this morning and it just so happened to have 3 beards. How big of deal is that? I know itís special but not sure how special....trying decide if I should full body mount it or just a fan mount.

Depends on the area as to how many but they do occur with multiple beards. Some have even more than 3. Here are some from the past few months on my place that appear to have more than one.

Very special!!, especially if they are all long. I've harvested a bunch of double bearded birds, but only 1- 3 bearded, and 1-5 bearded.

Congrats to the young man.

Sometimes its hard to determine from pics, or even binos whether a bird is multiple bearded. Seen a bunch that looked like they were, only to find it was a single beard with separation.

Congrats to your son, in my book that's very special, especially when a young hunter takes a good one like that!

Very nice bird! Congrats! Got a three beard on my lease last year but I didn't shoot it.
