After a lot of research and “mullet by it over” I decided to buy a Beaumont Metal Works KMG grinder... Got it with 2 hp motor and variable speed controller. Have a friend who owns an electrician business. Had him come out and install a dedicated 220v line with 30amp breaker for the grinder... I’m loving it so far! A couple extra tooling arms and different wheels are in the future...
What are you guys using and what are your thoughts on the KMG?

KMG is a good grinder! I built my own all out of aluminum bar stock. I patterned after a KMG though. 3hp Leeson variable with a Leeson controller. I bought the crowned tracking idler and contact wheel from KMG though. It's a beast and you aren't going to bog it down.

KMG is a solid machine, and was the industry standard for a long time. Good choice.
