Looking for an M1 Garand, want a WW 2 Springfield. I have the cash and will need an era rifle, no skeltonizied junk rifle. Must be a shooter!! Let me know, could do some trading if your looking for an AR. Thanks

dugger.. have you checked out CMP? Go to their forum classifieds and you can find pretty much exactly what you're looking for.

If you have any flexibility at all with the WWII vs Korea, they have the Springfields and H&R (Korea) and just got a batch of IHC's (Korea).

Good luck either way... Super nice rifles.

Thanks TXBoss, yes I have checked CMP. At the moment they have some service grades and I'm probably going to pull the trigger on one pretty quick. Been wanting one of these for years and have decided to fulfill my desire to get the Garand and the M14.

Never had a chance to shoot either but I really like the old military rifles.

You will enjoy the Garand... well and the M1A.

It doesn't hurt to add the famous yellow sticky note to your order asking for WWII Springfield preference. They do their best to help unless it's unreasonable.
