Went hog hunting last night. 3 shots , three dead hogs. These are the longest shots I have taken with the XP38 so far. First hog was 130 yards but did not include in this video. Pretty much a bang flop situation. Second group I ran into was near one of the lakes on the property. I got as close as I was willing to get from the group and downed 2 hogs. The ole 223 Remington sure lays them down.

Looks like good thermal conditions and you made good use of them. Well done!

I do my own reloading. Lapua brass, CCI BR4 primer, 25.5gr of H335, Sieria 65gr Gameking bullet and set seating depth for O.A.L. of 2.260". Out of a 16" barrel I get 2900 fps MV. This load gives me 1.5" groups at 200 yrds from my AR15 and 3/4" groups at 200 yrds out of my Rem 700.

Well done.

I find many don't give these scopes and rifles enough credit for their capabilities well beyond 100 yards.
