I have a place in Dickens county. We have lots of coyotes as I shot 3 during deer season over hog and deer remains. I have a Fox Pro call and and a battery operated rabbit decoy. Always hear numerous howling all over my pace in the early morning and evening.
I have set up the decoy and call about 75 yds up wind about 5 different times. I have been using cotton tail, jack rabbit and fawn. Nothing has ventured in. I set up at sun rise and 1/2 before sunset. What am I doing wrong. Appreciate any advice

I think some times people call to much, to often. What I mean is they just keep calling over and over. I like to call for about 20-30 seconds and wait for 2-3 min. I don't have a electronic call I just use the old fashon mouth call. Works for me.

I hunt that area and have called in many. Stealth getting in is most important. You can't drive to your set. Park off a road and walk in a few hundred yards.
They like draws so drive to a draw and then walk a little ways along it. Drop in and set up in the draw. The woodpecker call works great. Sometimes the rabbit doesn't work as well.

Don't call super loud. Start quite and go silent. Then a short sort of louder then silent. Before I get a little loud. They hear really well so loud doesn't always sound natural.

Try a few coyote vocals first then a rabbit. That sounds more realistic. You can blast the howls. I end with howls before I give up on a spot.

Try the baby goat if you have it. That one works well.

many factors, I think the most important after wind & not being seen, is to not make the first call to loud, I always started being just able to hear it, then upped the volume gradually

To OP sounds like you have some coyotes that have been called before. Doesn't sound like you are doing anything necessarily wrong and I assume you are calling the same place over and over which is not a recipe for success.

I will say I have never had any issues calling too loud only too soft that they cant hear it..... folks who think you can call too loud maybe haven't heard an animal get caught by a fence or a predator but they holler so loud it will hurt your ears if you are close.
Once I accidentally had my FoxPro full blast when I turned it on playing woodpecker distress and when I looked down to turn the volume down I caught movement and two coyotes ran within 10 yards of me headed to the caller. They couldn't have been more than 50-75 yards away when it came on.
