I used to own a trolling motor shop. Motor guide is a trotline weight as far as I'm concerned.
Get a minn kota and get the quick mount plate for easy removal.

This is what I got with quick mount. Terrova, 55 lb/24 volt, 54 inch shaft. It works great. Looks like they don’t make the 54 inch 55 lb with 24 volt any more, just 12 volt.

My boat will come with a removable bracket so I won't need the quick mount plate. When duck hunting I will remove the trolling motor and bracket. Then after season I can install the bracket back for fishing. You guys may think I'm nuts but I'm leaning toward a hand control trolling motor with a couple big foot push buttons and a Pro Kontrol extension handle.

I bought a bow mount power drive v2 with ipilot and it’s awesome. I don’t need an anchor anymore, can run it in 6-8 inches of water and can use the remote to drive it. It’s amazing.

Spend xtra money and get Pilot or Pilot compatable if your main objective is fishing. Fishing structure and gps anchor is unbelievable. If you fish for Sandbass or Hybrid Stripers on structure your numbers will go up 30-50% on windy days.
