I think I may need to break down and buy me a new feeder. I'm leaning toward a Sweeney or a Triple C, but wondering if you guys had any others that I should take a look at. Tia.

I've run a couple of Sweeneys for years with no major problems. Go the winch down route, if you do. Just don't ever stand right underneath it, since some on here believe owning a winch rig is instant death.

We run a dozen "The Timer" control boxes with Spincact motors and shafts at the lease. Once we figured out their quirks, we seem to be running smoothly, but we keep a few extra units out their for repairs.

Many on here swear by the "Eliminator" spin plates to stop raccoons from messing.

Then there's the whole ground-fill, auger up capsules to consider, that I know nothing about, but look to be easier on your back over the long haul.

if I were to buy a new feeder, I would definately go with a GreenGo stand & fill. Great design, high quality, coon proof and very reasonably priced ... 400 lb on up to 800 (I think) ... GreenGo Facebook page

finally found their webpage too GreenGo Feeders Home Page

Price? I went to the website and I don't see any prices. I like the name...

yep ... I have given serious thought about becoming a distributor but don't have enough traffic for me to make the initial investment...

Alamo Feeders are great. We have been running a couple for a second season now. You can’t do better. We just ordered 2 more. I like the 1000# stand and fill model. It’ll run all season and critters won’t bother it. It uses “the timer” and operates on 12 volts. It comes with steel pins to brace against hogs. No problems yet. Very easy to fill these feeders and the corn stays dry.

Ramball36 (Mike) on here makes some quality stuff. I have a stand and fill feeder of his as well as a quad pod blind and a fire pit.

The new Ranch King mighty buck is an extremely clever design in a high quality feeder. Galvanized and painted, timer in the lid for easy access.

Here are our new feeders for 2018. They’re both under 5’ tall, very easy to fill and coon proof. The amount of corn saved on these compared to a caged feeder is pretty impressive.

I bought one from Ramball36 last year. As for throwing the corn...you don't want to stand next to it when it goes off! Been a great feeder, might get another later this year.

I’m working on uploading the video but we got a 74’ diameter throw today out of it.
