I'm thinking about getting one of those Hornady, padded, swivel, shop seats. It sits up high like a barstool. Should be the correct height for long sits, sizing, trimming etc.

anyone use a chair of some type?

Use my desk chair which is very comfortable, but I set my Bench up for that height chair.

Sitting on a bar stool height swivel chair

I've seen several for sale, the Hornady looks well made but expensive. Northern Tool has one cheaper but not sure quality. I need a heavy one to hold up my big booty

My bench is pretty tall, so I ended up ordering a drafting chair off of Amazon for ~ $50. It’s much taller than a standard chair or stool, and puts me at the height I need. It’s on casters, and has a round swiveling seat with a back and foot rest. Works well for me.

Drafting chair with arms. Get a comfy one, you'll be there for a while.

I have a pub height table that is missing one chair. It’s in the reloading room. I think a drafting chair would suit me better.

I have a tall bench with a stool. Sometimes I stand though.

A very uncomfortable old wooden stool.

I stand except when throwing the powder charge and prepping brass. I have a tall bench and have never bothered buying a tall stool.

I stand, benches, presses, Chargemaster all setup for standing. I'll sit when at the comp desk or writing. Stools always seem in the way and I like to move with out any obstructions.

I use a folding chair, but I built my bench with that height in mind. My son has a "drafting chair" that sits up higher and it works well for him since we built his reloading bench with the height of the drafting chair as a guide. Since I'm always dropping casings, primers or bullets, I need to be able just bend down and retrieve my latest drop; if I try that from the drafting chair I end up on my nose on the floor!

Get one of those grabbing sticks from Wall Mart, you can pick up anything small, a primer, bullet, and something as thin as a dime. Saves lots of bending.
