Looks good How many holes...where.....and what size? I use a 5 Ft pipe I usually have 5 holes. One on each end one in the middle then roll it over and put a hole about the center of the holes on the other side of that makes sense. I usually go with 1/2 inch but will do 5/8 as well. You can always tape over the old holes and drill new ones if they are emptying it too quick.

I realize it varies each time, but how long on average does the corn last using the 5' PVC once the hogs find it?

I realize it varies each time, but how long on average does the corn last using the 5' PVC once the hogs find it? you are right it greatly varies. Lol. I’d say the average is 3-4 days but sometimes they will empty it in a day if a sounder hits it hard. If they are emptying it too fast I’ll tape up a couple holes and only leave 1-2. Holes for corn to fall out. I like to put these around spinning feeders just so if the hogs eat up all the thrown corn the tube will keep them around a little longer. I also have to deal with deer, coons, and cows sometimes eating the corn.

They will hit them regularlly until acorns fall. When the acorns were falling they would not touch my pipes for weeks. then the acorns played out and here they come back to the pipes. You have to have them able to spin on the chain or cable which ever you use. I use a coated 3/16 cable with it able to spin on each end. They still sometimes have it wrapped up on the t-post stake. I once had to weld the eye bolt closed again. They had gotten it spread enough to get it off the cable, but the pipe was only about 20 feet away. Good luck they work good.
