Been a long time since I spent an afternoon shooting .22s. Took my brand new buckmark URX plus practical to the range for the first time today. Took 6 different kinds of ammunition and it cycled all of them at I’d guess 95% reliability. Still searching for the perfect ammo for it, but all of it shot pretty well. I was averaging 2” groups at 10 yards rapid fire. If I really took my time, they were under an inch pretty easily. I shot: CCI Mini Mags CCI stingers (best groups) Federal champion round nose Federal champion bulk HP Blazer Aguila Super Extra

I love Buckmarks. Try out some CCI SV, that seems to shoot great in everything I've tried.

Thanks! I’ll be shooting steel matches with it hopefully once I find it’s fsvorite ammo. I love Buckmarks. Try out some CCI SV, that seems to shoot great in everything I've tried. I had good luck with that in my wife’s Sig mosquito. I’ll need to pick some up.

The more I shot it, the more reliable it got. I think the last 50 federal bulk only had 1 FTF.

The trigger gets even better if you flip the sear spring which I did. It’s probably 2.5-3 lbs now. It will be even better once I switch the trigger for the tandemkross victory trigger.

Lube it up and keep shooting! My BIL's Challenger will get a little hesitant when it gets dry.
I may need to get more info on flipping the sear spring...

Nice! Love a 22 pistol. Doesn't get much more fun than that.

Sweet. That is a nice looking little pistol.
I had a High Standard 22LR years ago. Like a fool, I let it go. I remember finding the pet ammo took me a bit, but there was a lot less choice back then.
