I have a 28" Benelli Nova. Does anyone have a recommendation on what choke and constriction to use for turkey or post what your favorite is with your gun. Thanks.

If found, please return to stand or boat.

You can do some research here and get an idea. Every gun shoots differently.

Constriction will depend on size shot used.

Yeah, you can use more constriction with smaller shot sizes, bigger shot, less constriction.

Also, you should probably avoid the wad-stripper chokes if you are using the federal ammunition with the flight control wad. It defeats the purpose of using a flight control wad if your choke strips it away in the barrel.

The patterns are with the Trulock Winchester Long Beard XR #6 choke with the Long Beard #6 3" ammo from my Mossberg 935 and my Remington 870 at 40 yds. There chokes are designed to be shot specific and their effectiveness speaks for itself. Their Federal Heavyweight #7 choke paired with the Federal Heavyweight 3" #7 ammo is a turkey slayer as well.

I would try some combos-- won't hurt to try your factory full choke and some Longbeard XR. Might be pleasantly surprised.

I had great luck in 20ga with HS Strut X-full and also with a Jebs. The Jebs was tighter and somewhat finicky with ammo but it LOVES Federal HW #6.

Promos Jelly/using long beard Xr #5. I have one in a Mossberg 835 and in a Stoger 3500.

Yes pattern your shotgun first using the factory full choke with a couple of turkey shells of various types.

To be determined

I simply use my factory full choke. First turkey I took was at 45 yards, DRT.

I'm thinking about buying a Briley Extended Full Choke .035 for my Franchi I-12

I have a Remington Turkey Choke in my 870 and it patterns pretty good
