Had 12 or 14 doe right in front of the house this morning. They had to be munching old acorns, because there’s nothing else to eat under the oaks. So, all but one yearling were eating. The yearling, however, wandered over to a huge pile of leaves that my wife had gathered and piled up, and pounced in it and danced around and kicked leaves like a bucking bronco. Cutest thing ever. Leaves were flying all over. Couldn’t get a video though.

I’ve got a herd of 14 or so that visit my cave evenings. They play together like dogs. Romp and stomp run in circles. They tickle me.

Not all mine are does. Little yearling bucks are in the mix. The big boys show up much less frequently.

I had 7 bucks in this morning at my house corn feeder. Most I have had in couple of years. Deer are hit or miss here the past 4 months now at the house feeder. Fun to watch them for sure.

This is why I want to HF in my land. I don't care about shooting them, I just want to be able to see them every day, all day.
