I've got a DPMS LR 243 that I'm going to be replacing the barrel on some time soon and I'm trying to decide if I want to go with a 1:8 twist and keep it a 243 or go with a 1:8 twist 6 creedmoor. I know for sure I'm going with a 22 inch barrel over the 20 inch that is currently on the rifle. The only thing is I'm already set up to reload 243 . Any advantage of the the 6 creed over the 243?

Creed would probably work a little better with long bullets in the confines of the ar mags.

I don't know something different. Sounds good to me. Can I have all your 243 brass?

What would the Velocity of the 85-90 grain bullets be out of a 6 creed 3300-3400 ?

You're probably in the ballpark on velocity. Could be on the slower side being a gas gun but book data shows up to 3400.
