I didn't have the Covert but the SRS A1 in 6.5CM.

I'd only get it if you wanted the shorter length and that was 99% your requirement.

Pro
Mine shot half MOA with factory ammo no problem.

Cons
Years to develop 10rd magazine. Might not matter to you now but damn for a $5k rifle they could build a good magazine for them without having a smith work them over.
Cheap feeling
Expensive replacement barrels

I went with AI and never looked back.

I’ve shot the full sized SRS in Lapua and .300. I loved it. The thing is so compact as it is, that I would rather have the full size over the Covert.

For the money, I’d also rather go the custom route, but if it’s already everything you want, they’re mighty fine rifles.

main thing im seeing is so compact for stands but with the bolt so far back do you loose the cheek weld to reload it?

I was leaning towards the 18 in 338 lm which my Crux can can handle a 16 in 338lm

I already have a 20 in bolt 338 and reload for it .

I was single loading, so I can’t say for sure, but I believe you can maintain cheek weld. You just have to roll your shoulder back to cycle the bolt.

honest question.... what happens if you need a higher cheek weld to see through the scope? can you put an adjustable cheek piece on it?

It’s adjustable. It can be seen on the opposite side of the bolt.
