We ended the season today covered in woodies. Not just your normal first ten minutes of woodies, but they came in flock after flock until 8:30. I’ve never seen this many wood ducks this late in the season. Besides the woodies, the calm, sunny weather didn’t have many birds flying around our area. The birds we killed were committed and feet down landing into the decoys. Had a couple bonus geese check out the spread also.

Committed and feet down is a good way to close it out.

Love those woodies, used to shoot them in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Sweet, that's a great mix. I alway loved hunting woodies. Sometimes when you come up to shoot you can hear them panic. This late in the season those must be gorgeous birds
