Just so yall know, the new wannabe FA "Reformation" is just a straight rifled "barrel" that, according to the manufacturer "seems to get about 4 MOA" but with their new football shaped bullets not yet released is capable of "around MOA"

The 3pers will line up for them. Does it come with a Spartan helmet?
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Which part? Yes, FA created a psuedo SBR with a 11.5 inch straight rifled bbl that they claim is good for 4 MOA at 100 yards with Winchester White Box 55g ammunition. I do not believe their claim based on a few facts. Fact 1 : In the interview on youtube with Andrew from AR15.com, the FA rep states the bullets are tumbling at 50 yards. Fact 2: Winchester White Box 55g ammuntion , if Q3131 milspec ammunition, through a match rifle is only capable of 3-4 MOA for 10rd groups.

I thought the Reformation was being made by Hi-Point Firearms? No??? My mistake That wouldn't have been as big of a disappointment, but a 2000 DOLLAR RIFLE PISTOL SBR, sigh, whatever you want to call it, that shoots a speculative 4 MOA, seems a little expensive.

I suppose FA didn’t do adequate research on the special bullet design.
As everybody knows here in the Dallas area, we have a pro football team that throws an object of similar shape. For the last 20 years they’ve experienced poor accuracy in terms of under-throwing and over-throwing the target and even when they do hit the target it usually is ineffective....
Similar results in the Miami, Cleveland, and Kansas City markets..........

This is a direct quote from the CEO in a parallel thread over on ARFcom.
"Standard off the shelf ammo will keyhole at 50 yards, but it will still be 4 MOA at 100 yards. It works safely, but it was really designed foe the NRS projectile in order to achieve superior groups."
BUT, what I think is really interesting is, they don't have an actual "NRS" projectile. They are still experimenting with designs. One being that brass nerf football I posted at the top. Another one they are referencing a "shuttlecock".
I think if they can make a projectile that is backwards compatible with standard rifled barrels, AND make their "NRS" barrel on the same level of accuracy, AND make the projectiles affordable, they might be opening to door to a whole nother level of innovation.

Other 11 letter words that are perhaps more befitting of the cost/design:
ABOMINATION
DETESTATION
EXCORIATION
I sense many buyers will consider this item as adequate gun safe decoration once the hype subsides....

WTH? I've checked my calendar three times and it's still not April 1. Surely this is a hoax.

What's the point of the football shaped bullets?
Is this a joke?

I’ll be dang.
They should have made it big enough to shoot potatoes. Seems more appropriate.

Could they make a bullet with the rifling on it. Not saying it would be cost effective, just the only way I could see this working. I'm still not sure this is even real.

I can’t believe money was spent designing that crap. Exactly. I can see massive failure with this release, especially at that price point. However I am curious to know how do they expect those Nerf looking projectiles to load and feed properly to align with the barrels straight grooves consistently.

Few thoughts.
Way overpriced Bullet keyholing on a bad guy under 50 yds is probably not a bad thing AR pistol with a brace is much better way to skirt the NFA SBR rules Silliest looking bullets thingy's(I said thingy on purpose) I have ever seen

That's a lot of IF's and BUT's. What's that old saying? "If IF's and BUT's were candy and nuts we'd have Christmas every day" I'm willing to wait and see how it actually works out. But at $2,000 I can easily pay for a nice AR15 SBR, Tax Stamp, Suppressor and it's tax stamp .......However I am curious to know how do they expect those Nerf looking projectiles to load and feed properly to align with the barrels straight grooves consistently. I'm guessing some sort of polymer sabot.

Tony Romo design meant to quick start his TV hunting program and give legitimacy to his long term commitment into high fence trophy bucks.
