Just acquired a Brno double set trigger Mauser 98. Wondering if anyone can give me any info on it. Worth? Year? Says ceskoslovenska zbrojovka Brno also has symbol with 47 stamped on reciever. It's been rebarreled to a .257 Roberts ackley improved 40 Degree. Stock is a mannlicher.

Shorthand for the mfg'ers name is CZ...and a very very nice looking rifle. Value depends on who wants it, and how bad. Not a large market for it, except for a collector who would much rather have had it unaltered.

I agree no collector's value due to the alterations, but nevertheless a very nice rifle to own and shoot. If I were trying to sell it, and had no luck with the classified section of this board, I'd try the classified section of Accurate Reloading as the rifle is perhaps a better fit for that group.
