Oh, that would be nice!!! That would make a good hunting bullet for a 223.

Me likey. Wonder when they will be available? I don't usually splurge on .223 bullets but this should make a great round for my Mossberg MVP Patrol rifle. I currently keep it loaded with 70 grain Speer soft points but I believe I might jump on a box or two of these.

There will be a lot of new announcements with SHOT show coming up in a few weeks. I won't go this year. But there is always some cool new stuff there.

And I’m betting standard twist 1:10 twist won’t stabilize it?

What's a "standard twist"?
1:10 might be common in a bolt action .223
I would venture to say there are more AR's in .223 than there are bolt action, by now. And they have a 1:9, 1:8, or 1:7

I'm thinking these out of my 1:8 twist 22-250 would be sweet.

Well since I never intend to enter the world of the black rifle standard = standard for bolt guns. In all your wisdom I think you know exactly what I meant

There is no bc on it yet but filling out all the other goodies on bergers site it says a 1:8.5 is recommended. It has marginal stability with a "standard" 1:10 twist. Looks like I will stick with the partition or 64 grain bonded bullet they offer in 224.

I sure hope a 9 twist will stabilize it, because i’d sure give it a try. But, if it won’t stabilize, I still have the 60 gr Partition that shoots great in my rifle.

Awe heck they are cheap enough, if I run across a box of them I will pick them up and see what they do. Marginal is good enough for me lol... there may be a box of 70 grain accubonds for sale with a handful missing before long.

Should be a nice (cheaper) alternative to the 75gr Swift Scirocco.

If I'd known this was coming I would have rebarreled my Swift with a 1:9 rather than 1:12. It would be interesting to see that bullet perform at 3500 fps!

Well since I never intend to enter the world of the black rifle standard = standard for bolt guns. In all your wisdom I think you know exactly what I meant There is no "standard" twist rate, for anything. There are some more common than others. Seen many a .308 Win with a 1:10, 1:11, 1:11.5, and 1:12 Buy a Tikka Varmint .223 and it comes with a 1:8.

Too Be Determined. I think this is a very smart offering in a perfect weight. Should stabilize with 1 in 9 or faster. I know my Savage 1 in 9 has never had an issue with any 69-70 grain bullet.

Just when I get settled on loads for all of my AR's; they do this. Maybe the wife's AR will like it. I have no doubt it'll work though. With the exception of my 77 grain SMK load; all my top handloads use Nosler bullets.

Well since I never intend to enter the world of the black rifle standard = standard for bolt guns. In all your wisdom I think you know exactly what I meant You should get at least one AR. They're really fun, and are easier to make accurate than a bolt gun.

Makes sense to make a hunting round for the 22 Nosler. Bet Hornady will come out with a heavy 22 ELD-X bullet too.
