I've never bought it at the store. It's easy to grow in the winter. The only way I know to cook it is to steam it. Here you go.

Any other ideas?

You can steam it until it's soft, then mash it like potatoes. Add butter, salt & pepper.

You can batter it and fry it or bake it and put buffalo wing sauce on it.

We roast it on a cookie sheet. Olive oil, salt & pepper, and cut up some garlic to spread around it. Cook it at 400 about 15 mins or until it's browned a little.

Love cauliflower but don't really like it steamed. Roasted is ok, boiled is meh, my favorite is raw. I could sit down with a bottle of ranch dressing and eat a whole head of cauliflower. Same with broccoli. I was looking at fried cauliflower the other day, looked interesting.

I love cauliflower... my wife on the other hand hates that I love it, as it tends to make a green pungent fog follow me around grin

My favorite is probably raw with ranch, second is a side my MIL makes with it sort of like loaded mashed potatoes but with boiled cauliflower in place of the potatoes, its really good.

THIS.

That's the exact recipe I use as well. Cut it into pieces and into a large bowl to toss with the olive oil and spices. Then onto the cookie sheet. Entire family gobbles it up. Follow this recipe and you won't cook it any other way. The roasted garlic slivers are an added bonus.

I like it raw, roasted, or in a salad.

Cauliflower - broccoli salad is awesome.
2 cups cauliflower florets
2 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup green olives
1/2 cup cubed cheese
1/4 cup bell pepper
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cup mayo

Throw all in a bowl and mix together.
Refrigerate overnight.

I usually don’t measure, just throw together.
I usually add more cheese, olives, and tomatoes.

My wife made a fake potato salad using cauliflower and it turned out surprisingly good. Even my kids liked it
