I'm new to waterfowl hunting, Ive been hunting in Somerville. Heard ducks fly a little more towards the end of the season due to less pressure from hunters. Was wondering if anyone had also had the same experience.

The last day of the season is when we always had a good hunt

The birds are wiser, but being in Texas some years they are just getting here. I reduce down my decoys, stop with the mojos, and have more patience. Sunday I had 6 Decoys and a jerk rig, 1 shy of a two man limit by 8:30.

Where do you hunt at Triple7? Central, east, west?
