Hey y'all, saved a green wing teal to mount to commemorate my first duck hunt. Taxidermist is coming by to pick it up today, had a quick question. I messed up and didn't double bag it I guess, pulled it out this morning and some ice formed up, almost freezer burn style. Think it will still be alright? I am gonna ask him what he thinks when he gets here, just wondered if anyone had any insight. Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem then.

thats what the taxidermist said. Using a guy named Edd Morgan, Morgan Taxidermy out of Tyler Tx. He said he relocated from up north recently, so we shall see. Anybody done any work with him before?

I looked at his website and his bird mounts look better than average. I wouldn’t normally take a bird to taxidermist that isn’t a bird only guy, but he seems to do ok.
