Used my thermal and watched 4 deer as soon as it was dark. 2 were bucks. Then I sat in dark for about 30 minutes and thought I heard a pig squeal. Got out my seek thermal and hogs had come in behind me. Saw about 30 with thermal. Had to get out of vehicle without making a lot of noise because they were only about 70 yards off. Turned on my night vision and heard one grunt. All started running so took shot at first one my crosshairs hit. Heard it squeal a lot so knew it was hit. Took my green light but couldn't find it. Turned on thermal and saw it laying by a tree. Good smoker size.

In hog hunting, thermal is your friend. Good kill and recovery!

Ok. This is old post but I am reviving it because some claim this is javelina. Well north east Texas is not known to have javelina. So I sent this photo to a game warden in my county and waiting on response.
