I hunted Bill Moody's Ranch on the Rio Grande Border. He past away, not sure if they are the same Moody. Bill was the "Moody Gardens" Moody. But the family tree is enormous.

We had a lease that bordered the moody. Years ago we couldn’t make a trip around the lease and not kill pigs. This past year it was tough. About the only time we for sure would see pigs is when the river cams up and flooded them out of the river bottoms.

was this the Moody Ranch which all the movies were made on? They filmed part of Lonesome Dove there and the Alamo with John Wayne. Inside Bills huge house there are ton of pictures of John Wayne filming there. There are even some of the old movie sets still out on the ranch.

This was around 2002??
