Mountain Home is just a wide place in the road. Other than Kerrville I don't know of any places to eat out that way.

Garvin store off 41 and 83 has some good BBQ sandwiches and sausage wraps.

This. Great jerky variety too. I mostly just eat the Q. Coffee is pretty good.

They don't open until 9:00 am which has always puzzled me.

My place north of 41 in Edwards County. My wife is a wonderful cook and I know my way around a grill and a cast iron skillet.
