I am now booking for our Hog Hunts. Starting Feb 2 and every weekend after that till around the end of May. After that, it just gets to hot to hunt. Hunts are $150 per gun/bow for the entire hunt, which will start on a Fri afternoon/evening till noon that Sun. No limits on numbers or sizes. Also included are all varmints. Fishing is also available with almost a mile of river frontage. We are currently running 11 feeders, all with stands. Looking to add one more feeder by Feb. We don't offer meals or lodging but hunters are welcome to camp on site which is all primitive. Would like groups of 6 or less. A group of 4 or more will have the whole place to themselves. Hunt is located in Panola Co., just north of Carthage Tx. in East Tx on 750+ acres in the Sabine River bottom. To book a hunt, we require a $50 deposit per hunter. The remaining $100 will be paid upon arrival. It is best to call or text me at 979-218-1037 for any bookings, questions or information.
We have the hogs this year. Since deer season opened, I have either seen or heard hogs on every trip.

Forgot to add, a youth 16 and under is free with a paying adult.
So far during the deer season, the only hogs killed were by my brother's grandson. My brother finally had to shut him down after he shot his 5th hog. All with his bow and the kid is only about 10 yrs. old!!! grin

Still have the first 2 weekends in Feb available. Have 2 weekends in March and 3 in April. Hogs are hitting the feeders mornings and afternoons. I came close to shooting a big ole sow the other morning with my bow but passed. She will be having a litter probably in the next week or so. Gonna be a bunch of targets to shoot at by Feb!!! grin

This place is the real deal hog hunting experience. And this is coming from a guy who sells hog hunts!

And the fishing there is fantastic.

Pros are awesome hog hunting, tall and I mean TALL trees, all the water features (marshes, live creeks, river etc), super cheap, great guy to deal with.

Thanks Tim.
But the place sure has changed since you were there last. This past summer we had a storm come thru. Uprooted a LOT of trees. Some places we still can't get to. Lost 3 feeders and stands but I got those fixed or replaced. Had to move 3 sets completly to different spots. That's a con, but the pro side of it is the hogs now have plenty of places to bed up not far from the feeders.

Starting to fill up. I do however have room for 1 or 2 people for the first 3 weekends of Feb. The last weekend in Feb is wide open and only have 2 weekends in March open(9-11 & 23-25). We haven't shot at these hogs since Nov., so they haven't been under any pressure. I have seen them pretty much any time of the day.

Me and my brother was out there today trying to put some final touches on some our sets. While we were assembling a tripod stand, a group of pigs came in to the feeder. We're only 15 yds. away!!! They finally ran off then about 30 minutes, another big group comes in. They did not like us being there messin up their feed schedule!!! grin
Feb is full pending deposits.
Have 2 weekends in March.
Only have one weekend in April booked so far.
Also, if you are a bowhunter, I have some sets that will be a bow hunters dream!!!

Well, we started a weekend early. Had a group come down from Missouri. Six guys and 2 kids, shot 5 hogs, recovered 4 and 2 misses. Everybody saw lots of hogs and everybody had a opportunity.
Looks like some weekends in Feb may be open. Haven't received some deposits, so, Feb. 9-11, 16-18, and 23-25 are open.

Was just out there and hunted one morning and one evening. Steven was very generous with his time. It's a big place with some interesting changes in vegetation and lots of water. Some very pretty woods. We saw fresh tracks and sign at almost all the stand locations. I shot a good sized boar, and if I wasn't too quick to check him out, probably would have a chance at two other pigs 15ft away. Also saw two deer.

I have no doubt that if you go out with Lenny and Steven, they will put you out at a stand with a very good chance to see pigs. They seem to be all over the place! For the money, this is a great value. It was my first time out there, but I will go back.

Thanks. Don't know how much of the place you got to see, but we had a storm come thru back during the summer and laid a BUNCH of big trees on the ground. Still working on getting some of it cleaned up where we can get around. Not sure why some of the others didn't see any hogs across the big creek. There is 2 big groups that I know of that are there and I've seen or heard them every time I deer hunted this past season. Glad you took that big boar out. Those tend to run the others off from the feeders.
