Thanx

Follow the directions and it's a pretty cool scope. I have 2. Have shot crows at almost 1000yds. The wind will get you however, that takes practice. Glass should be better on a 1k scope. Wouldn't take it to Africa or want to hump it all day , it's heavy. My 2 seem to hold zero.

It is handy but nothing you cant do with a rangefinder and good scope. Just takes a little loonger. With eliminator takes just a few seconds.

Yeah I lied you caught me, fireman. It was 937 yds or maybe it was meters, does that matter? At least that's what the POS eliminator scope read when I pulled the trigger. Awe heel it might have only been 237 but man it sure seemed like a long ways! Oh and forgot to mention I had it on my 300 BO that only has about 30 inches of drop at a 1000 yds, right?! Don't call BS fireman just because you can only shoot 800yds on your steel range. Maybe I need to join your club and take a class so I can pay you to teach me how smart you are? Am I really wasting my time trying to prove, that maybe someone other than you can shoot past 800 yds? Awe but with your 22k plus posts you are clearly the CELEBRITY of the site in long range shooting, my bad I'm a measly bird dog, I have a lOOng ways to go before I'm as smart as you, and can shoot as far as you can. OR maybe I can just use my Eliminator for $799 and keep killing chit past 800yds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since you clearly don't know what you are talking about. Sorry if you can't do it, but just maybe some of us out here can shoot better than you, or maybe I'm just a lucky shot. Well I don't know since I have shot things on numerous occasions past 800 yds does that just make me lucky?

Idk if you shot a crow or not at 1000 or 937 or even the 237 but you seem to be... Anyways.

I'd be interested in reviews on this scope. I just got a Burris XTR ii and am impressed so would like to know more on their product line.

Well before the experts chimed in that don't even own one...... As long as you follow the directions it is an awesome, quick rangefinding scope. I have ranged water turkeys sitting on dead trees at 1000 yds or so with it when I had a permit to shoot (at) them. Or never mind according to FIREMAN I couldn't hit them so I'll just say ranged so FIREMAN doesn't get FIRED up! The glass could be better and it is heavy but I own 2 and they are great for keeping in the truck or ranger. When you see something your not fumbling around with a rangefinder. You just put the crosshairs on it, push button to range. Put dot on it and shoot. Takes about 5-10 seconds. Elevation will be spot on but good luck with the wind.

How easy is it to get the crosshairs on it (for ranging) at distance? P_102

Ok, Mister Butt-hurt.

What cartridge are you shooting, at what zero distance, what reticle, what magnification did you make this 1000 yard crow hit, what's your BC and MV, how bad was the mirage?

I wouldn't be caught dead with that oversized crap on a rifle I own. I also wouldn't count on consistently killing anything at 1000 yds with any setup.

Amazing how rude, condescending and self-absorbed JG is. Nobody can do it as good as he can......unbelievable.
Maybe the guy got lucky, maybe walked a few rounds in for a hit, maybe he is just good enough to put a first round hit in a 4" target at 1000 with a Burris. Who cares.

So all he wrote, that really was rude and condescending, and you're putting the label on me. Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

I merely asked for his specs.

And that's going to be one of the best range finders in the world to bounce a crow at 1000 yards. Wish my Swarovski was that capable.

Lol, if your going to post you shot a crow at 1,000 I think you should just expect to get some backlash about it.

Seems like it would work best for a mid/longer range hunting scope, simplify the process and have all the ranging etc. requirements taken care of in one unit, but I don't really like them.
