anybody heard of this buffalo brand ammo being too hot to shoot in certan guns..i read some stuff on it really being a great ammo for killing hogs ..but to bewbox ecplicitly says on the flap to warn that its a hot load..didnt know if it was marketing or not..so i turn to yall who may have experience with this brand..thanks in advance..and merry CHRISTMAS to all

I assume you’re talking about Buffalo Bore.
Yes, they are hot loads. The risk is using them in older firearms. I think that’s mainly the .45/70, since it’s been around long enough to see some older rifles with steel that isn’t up to the task. In more modern rifles made for higher pressures, it’s fine. I don’t know the specifics, but I’m sure the folks at Buffalo Bore can fill you in.
I love their ammo. I shoot it in my .454. None of your standard factory stuff can touch it. Only outfits similar to Buffalo Bore, like Cor-bon and Underwoods is in the same league.

Gotta be careful with Buffal Bore ammo in your .45 Colt revolvers. Some can take it, some cannot.
