I've got a hankering for a new shooting iron and I'm thinking about on of the Winchester falling blocks. I'm thing the 6.5 CM with the heavy/long barrel should be a great long range shooter. Does anyone have one and if so what do you think? I've looked at the Shiloh as well but for twice the price I'm thinking I might try the 1885.

I have 2 at opposite ends of the cartridge scale, High wall 45-70 and low wall 22 Hornet. Both are shooters for sure. Plus the clean lines and balance make them fun.

If they would offer it in 6.5-284 or 6.5 PRC, it would be an amazing LR rifle. I imagine the 6.5 CM will reach on out there with a 28" barrel.
