I have a small, John Deere dump trailer that serves the same purpose. Found it on Craig's List for $75. Much easier on the back.

That's working smarter, not harder. Nicely done

No need in paralizing ourselves bent over dragging dead weight

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

I'll just stick with my tractor and front end loader. Anything that makes it easier is okay by me. Did things the hard way for toooooo many years.

I bought this thing a couple of years ago after my wife and I strained to get a buck 30 yards out of the brush. I have dragged two bucks out to the brush using it. I also hook it up to my utv mule and drag behind. I also bought a 100 yard strap and tie one end to the back of the mule and the other to the sled and use the mule to drag it out of the brush So far so good.

Smart thing to do. Since I am in my 60's I find more and more that my mind thinks I can still do anything but my body tells me differently.

Good idea. The dragging isn't too bad on me but lifting it onto the back of our mule by myself, that's a different story.

When I come down to Texas that's what I do, Just call my cousin on the cell phone and he drives the tractor with the bucket up to whichever area we are hunting. Roll the deer or pig into the bucket and he drives it down to the skinning station.

Shoot yeah!
Being on the other side of sixty, I can certainly relate!

I keep on hunting and as my lifting ability goes down hill, I just machine up...
Between the Honda Rancher, a Mule and Kubota backhoe, the hardest part is dragging chain or rope from machine to animal.

Dang nice buck there too BayouGuy!

Well played. I like how low to the ground it is and the removable tail gate. Very easy to slide them in. up

I use my ranger...I still have to throw it in the bed though. We also keep an old tractor at the lease and that is how we hang em to skin.

and I put a grapple on the loader for hogs (and trees).

For anything not easily tossed in truck we use a White tractor with front bucket.
If it is down in the bad part of woods a tracked Bobcat is used, it is too slow for general retrieving.
A bonus is the Bobcat makes a new trail for both deer and me.
