If you see one with cutters are just want to take on then go for it but can't think of what they really hurt or damage. The don't tear up roads and not real sure if they root crops, they are tough on rats nest! Can't really find reason personally to shoot one, others may have more reasoning behind hunting them. I wouldn't eat one myself, think they are rodent anyway. Only allowed 2 a year legally I believe.

I've got two euros of boars with cutters being done right now. (The grandson will probably want one.) Last year I got this guy done, mainly 'cause I've always wanted one:




We have a lot in the pasture we hunt. They do run off the deer at the feeder if enough of them come in, so I've been shooting my legal limit each year. I think we may need to get more folks to shoot their limit. The backstrap isn't bad at all; just avoid the scent gland in the middle/rear of the back when skinning/cleaning. They are a legal game animal and need to be treated accordingly.

They have a musk gland just above their tail.You need to remove that if you plan on eating it.
