I recently acquired a remington model 11 12 ga with a poly choke on it. serial 1617**. going thorough a complete disassembly everything looked great except there was not a firing pin spring. anyone know if this was left out for a reason? maybe someone lost it before and didn't replace? what issues may i have if i don't have one and need one. ANY info would be great. Thanks!

called a guy on the list and he was great. for others, if the firing pin is square on the back and not round, then no spring is needed nor installed.
